Charon Normand-Widmer

Your Guide to Deep Healing and Transformation

For years, I have helped individuals like you release emotional blocks, reconnect with their true essence, and step into a life of clarity and empowerment. My approach goes beyond traditional therapy—I integrate somatic wisdom, trauma-informed healing, and conscious embodiment to create lasting change from within.

I believe that wellness is not about feeling better, but about getting better at feeling. Wellness includes all aspects of your life such as nutrition, movement and adequate rest. Each session is designed to increase your ability to relate to your body, to become more attuned with yourself, while cultivating deep self-trust through deepening emotional intelligence, all with the goal of you feeling lighter, freer, and more fully aligned with your purpose.

The Path That Led Me Here

I’m Charon, a love and relationship coach, trauma specialist, and licensed therapist devoted to guiding others into deeper connection and healing.

For over 25 years, I’ve supported individuals, couples, and families through life’s most intimate challenges—guiding them through emotional healing, identity exploration, relational wounds, trauma, and the complexities of sexuality. As a sex therapist, I help clients deepen intimacy, heal sexual disconnection, and reclaim pleasure as a vital part of their wholeness. With over 52,000 hours of clinical practice, my work has reached more than 20,000 clients across 11 countries, and I continue to feel humbled by the courage and transformation I witness every day.

I specialize in working with individuals and couples facing challenges related to intimacy, sexuality, and emotional dysregulation. My approach is grounded in psychodynamic and mindfulness, and compassion based practices, infused with a deep reverence for the body’s wisdom. I believe that healing happens in connection, both with ourselves and with others.

My background includes a Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University, USA, and I’m continuing advanced studies in neuropsychoanalysis and neuropsychology. I am a graduate of the Compassionate Inquiry's Professional program, a program spearheaded by Dr. Gabor Maté, deepening my understanding of trauma and somatic processing.. I've trained extensively in sex therapy, tantra, somatic work, and sensorimotor psychotherapy.

I’ve trained extensively in sex therapy, tantra, yoga, and somatic work—blending ancient wisdom with modern therapeutic practices. My background in yoga includes not only asana but also breathwork, mindfulness, and the philosophy of embodiment, which I weave into my sessions to foster grounded presence and self-awareness. Through tantra and sex therapy, I guide individuals and couples in exploring intimacy, desire, and connection in safe, sacred ways. My somatic training helps clients tune into the intelligence of the body, unlocking stored trauma, deepening emotional regulation, and restoring a felt sense of wholeness.

What I’ve learned through decades of study and direct experience is this: healing is not just about insight, it’s about embodiment. That’s why I created the Conscious Embodiment Approach.

When I’m not working with clients or training practitioners, you’ll likely find me in nature, on a yoga mat, or immersed in learning new integrative ways to help others live more fully. I’m also a proud wife of 25 years and a mother of four, the loves of my life.

This work is my calling, and I’m honored to walk beside those who are ready to step into their healing with courage, compassion, and truth.

My Approach

Healing is not just about talking. It is about returning to the body, connecting with your authentic self, and creating space for deep transformation.

At the heart of my work is the Conscious Embodiment Approach. This method was developed through decades of clinical experience, personal healing, and mentorship with globally respected teachers. It combines psychodynamic insight, somatic practices, and relational healing to guide you toward self-awareness,
emotional flexibility, and inner peace.

Instead of offering surface-level solutions, I support you in exploring the emotional and unconscious patterns that shape how you love, relate, and move through the world. Whether you are facing relationship challenges, emotional pain, sexual issues, or stress, this work invites true healing from within.

Every session is personalized and guided at a pace that feels safe for you. We honor your story, your nervous system, and your body’s wisdom. Through presence, intuitive guidance, and evidence-based tools, I help you reclaim your voice, restore inner harmony, and create lasting change.

Rooted in Breath, Aligned in Spirit

Where movement becomes medicine, and stillness reveals the soul’s quiet truths.

Trained in the ancient wisdom of yoga and integrative movement, the body becomes both sanctuary and storyteller. Breath leads the way—anchoring, softening, awakening. Through intentional movement and stillness, space is created for deep listening, where each posture becomes a prayer and every inhale, a quiet return home. In this practice, healing is not forced—it unfolds, gently and naturally, like light stretching across a quiet morning.
