Luminous Ground Marrow Come Into The Room

The Sanctuary

Come all the way home to the body,
and then live there.

Marrow is a sanctuary. A monthly live session, a practice to carry between them, and a room of people walking the same raw terrain. It is ongoing, which means you are not working toward a finish. You are building somewhere to stand.

Raw. Ongoing. Unflinching.

Open from 1 August · $19.99 a month · Doors close at the end of September

What It Is

The body and the life force are one subject.

Most of us learned to manage the body from a distance. To read it like a dashboard, to quiet it when it spoke too loudly, to take it somewhere and wait for it to behave. Marrow is the practice of moving back in.

Energy rises and it descends. It moves down as well as up, and the descent is the part most people were taught to skip. Here we take our time with it, together, month after month, until the body is somewhere you actually live.

A Month Inside

Rhythm, rather than intensity.

The same shape every month, so your nervous system knows what is coming and can settle into it.

One

A live session

We gather. I teach something from the body, and then we work with it together, out loud, in real time. You are welcome to speak, and equally welcome to stay quiet and let it land.

Two

A practice to carry

Something small enough to live inside for four weeks. It goes with you into the ordinary days, the commute and the kitchen and the difficult conversation, which is where the work actually happens.

Three

A room that stays

The same people, month after month, who know what you are working on and remember to ask. This is the part that changes things, and it is the part you cannot get from a recording.

The Room

This is the room.

Marrow is the room. Joining and walking in are the same act, so there is no lobby and no second step. It stays open all month, and it is where the sharing lives, where you are witnessed, and where I am with you between the live gatherings.

Channels for the practice, for the questions you are carrying, for the meditations, and rooms held for men and for women. Everything is kept inside these walls.

Who It Is For

For the ones who feel the pull.

You have read the books and done the courses, and you are ready to live it rather than understand it.

You want your life force to move again, in your work, your desire, your ordinary Tuesday.

You are willing to be witnessed, and to stay in the room while something real is happening.

You want somewhere ongoing to put the work, held by someone trained to hold it.

Who Holds It

Charon Normand Widmer, LMSW

Somatic trauma therapist · Nervous system · Embodiment

I am a licensed clinical social worker and a somatic practitioner. I bring people to the body because the body is the vehicle, and because it holds what the thinking mind has agreed to forget.

Marrow is where I put the work that needs time. Months, in a room that stays, at the pace the body actually moves.
